  1. Training

- Design, develop, standardize and continuously improve, in consultation with HRM and coordination with Head of Departments (HOD) a training plan including training contents and training materials (with focus on company’s objectives), and budget. The training plan and materials should be designed for each and every job group e.g Sales, Marketing, Customer Services, Operations, Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, etc. The training plan should include both internal training and outsourcing.

- Design, develop a specific training plan/program for successors and future leaders. The training plan to include but not limited to leadership, people/staff management & motivation, communication and delegation. To do this, the Deputy HRM will need to able to coordinate all sorts of resources, company and departments’ future needs, and the involvement of all line managers at/during planning and implementation.

- Deliver the training where and when appropriate, and monitor the outsourcing. Conduct post- training assessment of training effectiveness.

- Coordinate to build up and network a team of trainers of various professional specialties.

  1. Staff Development and Assessment

- Work in team with HRM on strategic plan and succession plan and follow up on implementation

- Assist HRM to work on Career Planning for staff, especially the key ones, and communicate with them and follow up

- Assist HRM in forming and implementing the high performance system including performance review, recognition and reward

  1. HR consultancy and Policy Communication

- Support and give advices to managers/HOD in staff management

- Overall monitor and give guidelines to local staff

- Communicate all HR policies/procedures to all staff, and make sure they understand, accept and follow the policies.

  1. Provide assistance to HRM in labor conflict resolution
  2. Support HRM in HR Audit and HR risk management.
  3. Reporting line: directly to HRM. Monthly Reports required:

- Training update/report

- Staff development update

- Monthly updated of HR policies

8. Safety and security

- Coordinate on a safety standardization/program/guideline available in place and is communicated.

9. Standardization

- Monitor and coordinate on maintaining the ISO system including ISO training to staff/departments.

EXPECTED OUTPUTS OF THE JOB

·         Training effectiveness:

            * Training strategy and budget agreed with departments and BOM

            * Periodical training delivery to ensure staff at positions trained/updated of policy/standard/fundamental skills and knowledge to perform their job.

·          Succession plan availability: Succession plans ongoing and in place for all key staff 

·         Availability and accessibility to and though-rough communication of HR policies/practices.

·         Full HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and reports available at all time

* DECISION MAKING

·         Make decision when delegated and assigned by HRM.

* SIGNING AUTHORITY

·         Sign on behalf of HRM when delegated and assigned by HRM.

* QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

·         Knowledge:

-       University degree or equivalent in Social Science, preferably in human resources or personnel management, Business Administration

-       Good English (presenting, writing, listening, reading )

·         Experience:

-       At least 4 years experience in senior management position(s) and in training (both program designing and delivering the training)

-       Experience in education, customer service, hospitality fields

-       Knowledge and experience in Vietnamese Labor Code, HR management implementing best practices.

·         Others:

-       Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

-       Wide networking, good contacts and relations with professional trainers

-       Good judgement/analytical skills

-       Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization

-       Ability to look at situations from several points of view

* GENERAL SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style

·         Good people assessment skills

·         Persuasive with details and facts

* WORKING TIME

The DHRM position is largely tasks-based. However it is normally 40 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays. Working day from 8:30am to 5:30pm, lunch break 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

* OTHER BENEFITS & OBLIGATIONS

·         Holiday: Public holidays plus twenty (20) days for annual leave including Tet period;

·         Social, Health and Unemployment Insurances will be contributed from the date of full-time employment and according to the Labor Law;

·         Two free English courses at LLV per year, or one course for immediate family member (parent, sibling, spouse) per year; and free English training for children;

·         Three (03) paid sick days per year;
