General information

  • This position has the overall responsibility to manage the Supply Chain function in Pham Nguyen, Responsible for the development and implementation of common standards and procedures for supply chain management.
  • Establishes operating policies to mitigate risk.
  • Develop, plan and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of the supply chain Department.
  • Provides guidance and training for supply chain personnel to improve function capabilities.
  • Participate in the bid/budget/planning preparation processes related to project components costing and sourcing, as required.
  • Responsible for communicating any schedule conflicts, resource constraints and time constraints at a high level across all projects.
  • Ensure that all project control and planning activities are executed in accordance with Pham Nguyen’s Quality and HSE Systems.
  • Provide strategic leadership and tactical direction in supply chain and logistics activities. Create and implement supply chain policies, procedures and practices to support the Platform
  • Analyze all elements of the supply chain and make recommendations as to how the process can be optimized to BOD
  • Provide cost savings recommendations and ensure spend is within budget.
  • Responsible to coach, motivate and assess SC/CS team.
  • Develop and improve the performance of department staff, ensure high efficiency.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in service delivery through robust root cause analysis and implementing resolution activities and initiatives.
  • Oversee the execution of all project supply chain activities, including 4 functions: Procurement, Planning, Logistics and Customer Service.
  • Consult the BOD on how to implement a lean Supply Chain.

1. Logistics:

  • Responsible to define the required material warehousing capacity, to accommodate materials at the right conditions meeting the company SHE standards.
  • Design the operating procedures to ensure best stock rotation and FIFO considering the agreed upon distribution strategy.
  • Responsible to design and implement the logistics policies and procedures that ensure best customer service level and optimum cost.
  • Responsible for conducting regular meetings with sales and top customers to discuss ways to improve efficiency & customer satisfaction.
  • Setup of reporting system.
  • To plan and organize necessary logistics capacities
  • Selecting, negotiation and contracting of external warehouses
  • Selecting, negotiation and contracting of transport companies
  • To check the necessary stock of empties.
  • To set up and check the ordering system of imported portfolio
  • Permanent optimization of logistics costs – to seek new logistics solutions and suppliers
  • To create and lead new logistics projects (transports, warehousing, distribution, etc.)

2. Planning:

  • Responsible for product demand planning in coordination with sales team.
  • Benchmarking performance against other peer companies, and provide business recommendations around future changes.
  • Acting as the key liaison for the business on supply issues relating to business crisis situations, such as product recall, or major production disruption
  • Engagement and collaboration with the supplier base to ensure that the correct service level targets are set
  • The development and upskilling of the Supply Planning team and their performance to create a highly proactive and responsive team.
  • Communicates goals to Supply Chain management team, monitors, drives actions and reports actual to plan to BOD as required.
  • Champions and monitors product life cycle/end-of-life process for manufactured materials.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations & policies.
  • Ensures proper training has been provided prior to employee performing job functions

3. Customer Service:

  • Responsible for setting the optimum inventory levels considering cash net working capital & end customer service level.
  • Coaches Customer Service Team in order to achieve high performance.
  • Monitors programs and procedures to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversees customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Partners with the management team to align customer service department policies and systems with the company's objectives.
  • Supports Customer Service Representatives, Reps/Dealers/Sales in troubleshooting orders that require special handling.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Foreign Economic Relation / business administration/economic , with significant experience at least 5 years success in FMCG
  • English fluency in both speaking and writing
  • Strong problem solving skills, especially with complex business issues
