VINA-BAT JOINT VENTURE COMPANY LIMITED

British American Tobacco-Vinataba (JV) Ltd. is a joint venture between British American Tobacco and Vinataba (70:30).



The company was established in August 2001 to develop leaf growing areas in Vietnam and process cut rag tobacco in the primary manufacturing factory at Long Binh Ward, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai.



The 21,000 square meter state-of-the-art factory has commenced operations in 2004 to manufacture cut rag tobacco for some of British American Tobacco’s brands that are sold in Vietnam. It includes some of the latest primary manufacturing equipment in the world and has the capacity to process cut rag tobacco for up to 15 million kilograms cut rag a year.
