Job Description


Assist the Category Manager Import in all administration tasks required for buying of a defined product group, meeting the needs of customers in order to achieve sales, stock and profit targets.


Assist Category Manager to complete the necessary admin tasks required to support managing assortment grids, promotions and stock inventory under the direction and objectives of product category.


  • Assist Category Manager to regularly research, analyze and evaluate the market to identify customers’ needs and merchandise opportunities.
  • Assist Category Manager to develop international source of new imported range which is incorporate with the department and category strategy.
  • Assist Category Manager to monitor sales trends and provide sales forecast and stock planning on monthly / quarterly basis
  • Assist Category Manager to monitor the product category performance in terms of pricing, promotion, assortment, quality of products, planning and allocation.
  • Together with CM to review / update by Project / by Category / by Brands in terms of development progress, sales and stock on weekly / monthly basis
  • Ensure all related data on the system is up to date and accurate within the required timeline. Run the necessary reports as and when required.
  • Ensure on time and accurate MM Mega Market Mail activities
  • Keep close track of ordering processes, product quality assurance and other matters related to the transport to ensure on-schedule deliveries.
  • Manage and maintain overseas suppliers’ relationships during daily operation.
  • Maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other buying teams, sales & marketing, logistic, quality assurance and other functions within the organization

Job Requirement

  • University degree or equivalent qualification in Business related subjects preferable.
  • Experience: 1 - 3 years, preferred experience in international merchandise and sourcing
  • Fluency in Vietnamese (both written and oral), preferred intermediate level in English language.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong analytical ability and good in data / figures / system
  • Abilities to handle problem solving proactively
