The Business Analytics - Market Research team functions as an in-house consulting team providing market insights and analysis to support high-level management in exploring new opportunities and formulating business strategy. A Business Analyst is responsible for industry assessment, trend updates and strategy support.
A. JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Market research and business analysis Research various industries and examine their validity in Vietnam market, including but not limited to market sizing, competitor/partner analyses, KSFs, business models, market entry strategy, etc.
Track, update daily, and make an analytical report on Payment market & trend in China.
Conducting evaluation and analysis of technology products (Fintech) in China based on their own experience and market research.
Study companies in the Internet space, including but not limited to business models, financial performance, strategic directions etc.
Explore business issues/opportunities, uncover insights and/or identify targeted areas for business growth
2. Strategic initiatives and partnerships
Support in identifying suitable approach and partnership model for collaboration between VNG and strategic partners/ key merchants
Support prefeasibility study for strategic initiatives

Minimum Bachelor degree in relevant major. Studying abroad in mainland China is a priority.
Interest in Technology/IT and their applications.
Up to 1 year experience related (partly or fully) to marketing/data/market research/consulting.
Can-do and positive learning attitude with active listening skill are significantly important. Candidate must have readiness for startup environment.
Excellent Vietnamese & English communication skills, both verbal & written. Competent capability of Chinese is a must, HSK 3 and above.
Structured thought process, good critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
