Job Description

Report to: Call Center staff report to Customer service Manager

Call Center Job Overview:

  • Make calls and answer incoming calls from customers to take orders, answer inquiries án question, provide information and process returns. By helping customers understand the product and answering questions about their reservations, they are sometimes seen as having a role in sales; prepare correspondences and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

Call Center Job Duties:

  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling
  • Manage large amounts of making/incoming calls.
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit client needs.
  • Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
  • Enter new customer information into system
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  • Identify and assess customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Meet personal/team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage customer
  • Bring customer back
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Complete call logs
  • Produce call reports

Job Requirement

  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Customer service representative top skills & proficiencies:
  • Product Knowledge
  • Documentation Skills
  • Resolving Conflict
