Job Description

  • Understand software requirements and define test coverage. Make any clarifications as required.
  • Knowledge on card management system, VisionPlus knowledge will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on Mobile app testing is must
  • Manage BAU release testing with Card management system and mobile app partner
  • Manage junior test resources with daily activities and assist them for Quality assurance delivery
  • Analyze the business requirement document and functional specifications
  • Work with Project Manager to define key milestones, checkpoints, risks and schedules
  • Preparation of test cases with scenarios and run plan
  • Preparation and execution of test cases
  • Preparation of pass logs and defect logs
  • Raising defects as per the laid down defect management workflow
  • Aid Project manager with testing status reports and progress
  • Provide implementation and post implementation support
  • Review test plans created by testing specialists
  • Monitor test progress and ensure delivery timelines are met
  • Achieve success criteria on defined testing milestones
  • Minimum to NO defect leakage in Production
  • Perform regression testing every release (manual and automated.)
  • Automate test cases based on priorities.
  • Contribute to the design and development of the common test framework.
  • Understand complex business requirements and help design creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with other leaders coworkers in a team-focused, agile development environment.
  • Deliver industry-leading software with high quality and at a fast cadence.
  • Embrace technical excellence and continuous learning.

Job Requirement

  •  Degree in Information Technology, MCA or Engineering from a recognised university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Card Industry. (JCB and Visa platform, Merchant App, Mobile app platform, SOAP UI testing)
  • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • Knowledge of various processes like application processing, account processing, authorisation, payment processing, transaction processing, transaction switching, clearing, routing, collection services, customer services, merchant settlements and front-end processing (internet, web-services, telephone banking, IVR, etc.)
  • 2 years IT experience developing and supporting applications
  • quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
  • experience with implementation of corrective action programs
  • product or industry-specific experience
  • strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
  • knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
  • knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Strong Negotiation & Comunication Skills
  • People Management is required
  • Fluency in English
