Job Description

Annam Gourmet looks for Chef position with main job functions as below:

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Control good food quality and sanitation as well as attractive presentation
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards if needed
  • Estimate food requirements and ingredients purchase
  • Supervise and organize kitchen staffs’ activities
  • Perform effective training for the staffs
  • Give prepared plates the “final touch”
  • Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation of the kitchen and relevant equipment
  • Keep time and payroll records for kitchen staffs
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Recruit and manage kitchen staffs
  • Rectify arising problems or customer complaints if any

Job Requirement

  • Degree in culinary science or related certificate from College, University.
  • Communicate fairly well in English
  • Proven working experience as a head chef
  • Excellent record of kitchen management
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
