Job Description

Chief Accountant is accountable for the financial accounting, management accounting, human resources and administration of the operation unit. Mainly in charge of production of periodic financial reports, forecasting, budgeting, internal and external compliance, the controller is responsible for the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply

Principal Accountabilities:

Finance and accounting

  • Manage and supervise all accounting activities including daily accounting transactions, payments, book closing and ensure controls on correctness and accuracy
  • Verify and approve all accounting vouchers to make sure correct accounting entries and compliance with regulation and group policy
  • Prepare annual budget, strategic planning and forecasting
  • Prepare schedule for all balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare cash flow projection and make sure enough cash for daily operation
  • Analyze the deviation between budget and actual, then write commentary report to group control
  • Prepare financial statement and monthly report to headquarter as schedule
  • Prepare periodical reports to the local tax offices and relevant authorities
  • Review and interpret business performance and operating results against short-term and long-term budgets and targets
  • Work with external audit for annual audit
  • In line with HSBC for any matter related to short term loan facility
  • Control and maintain accounting system
  • Maintain the filing system in safe condition and compliance with accounting law
  • Main contact for headquarter in financial matters

HR and admin

  • Support the recruitment process
  • Labor contract preparation and tracking
  • Register social insurance, health insurance for staffs
    Handle admin work of the company
  • Payroll calculation and salary payment
  • Strong administrative support for all departments

Job Requirement

  • University degree in Accounting/finance/audit
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in accounting, finnace
  • Good command of English
  • Experienced with accounting software set up and maintenance
  • Mature, understand the important of confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills and can demonstrate ability to lead and develop other accounting staff
  • Experience and knowledge of Finance, Tax accounting, costing
