Job Description

The Country Marketing Manager is integral to the success of Fitness & Lifestyle Group. Working with the business owners and marketing team, he/she effectively designs integrated marketing campaign plans, promotions and CRM initiatives that appeal to target audience and power lead generation and sales activities. Abiding to a high-performance culture and focusing on great execution towards clear revenue generation, he/she contributes to the company’s top and bottom line by:

- Ensuring brand standards are met and delivered through audits at clinic level across all departments including, marketing collaterals, presentation scripts, uniforms, & service delivery.

- Leading external partner outreach to create cross promotional and business development opportunities;

- Implementing sales and promotional events targeted at generating leads or creating closing opportunities;

- Working with Medical, Sales and Senior Management teams to create an innovation roadmap, coordinating the design & implementation of all marketing plans associated to it and monitoring the success of the same;

- Tracking consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, profit projections, pricing and distribution, and by conducting consumer research;

- Implementing systems & procedures leading to smooth cooperation between Marketing, business owners and other relevant stakeholders.

REPORTS TO: EVP of Marketing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL DRIVERS:

A. 30% - Owning the Brand’s Presence and Keeping High Standards

1) Audit clinics to check the collateral display, presentation scripts, uniforms and service level. Work with related departments to solve any issues encountered.

2) Problem solve key complaints from customers and work with Sales, Medical and Operational teams to ensure adequate service level and accurate campaign implementation as well as with Media & PR to manage crises.

3) Work with Creative and Production teams to create and maintain an updated brand guideline book.

4) Ensure consistent implementation of visual guidelines across all channels and communication means.

B. 30% - Leading Partner Outreach, Amplifying Brand Reach and Enabling Sales

1) Work with management to crystalize business and sales objectives and trickle the same down to the entire organization through structured briefs and hands-on training.

2) Supervise and coordinate social media, blog and PR content created by and for the brand with the objective of increasing brand awareness and lead generation.

3) Take part in establishing key media and sales partnerships or opening doors to new corporate sales leads.

4) Execute on sales and promotional events to generate leads or sales opportunities.

5) Work with marketing teams to problem solve budget constraints, bottlenecks or coordination issues.

6) Oversee all outsourcing of marketing services to third parties by establishing clear process flows, aligning on costs / budgets and signing off on the outputs of such relationships.

C. 20% - Generating Insights, Developing Innovations & Implementing Marketing Plans

1) Leverage historical data, existing customer and target consumer research to identify trends in consumption, preferences towards brands and current positioning within the industry.

2) Work with Top Customers, Medical, Sales and Top Management teams to identify which trends to focus on and create an innovation plan and marketing plan for the organization.

3) Coordinate the design, implementation and performance measurement of marketing campaigns and communication. Sign off on all collaterals and content needed to support the plans being implemented.

4) Review performance on a regular basis and identify opportunities for optimization.

D. 20% - Building Team & Culture

1) Recruitment: Define org structure, identify gaps and recruit ‘A Players’ capable of adding further to the team.

2) Training & Development: regularly promote sharing sessions across the team and provide industry and brand updates to all division stakeholders to generate sense of purpose and momentum.

3) Succession Planning: Ensure an effective succession plan is in place to accommodate the growth of the team. Work with the management team to keep the succession plans current.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Traffic to Clinics: 90% target achievement or higher

- Sales: 90% of monthly & quarterly target

- Budget: costs at 100% or below budget

- 100% of communication produced on time and within brand guidelines

Job Requirement

-      University Degree strongly preferred, ideally in a relevant degree such as marketing, advertising, communications, business, entrepreneurship or similar

-      Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a directly relevant role, with demonstrated success shown

-      Strong commercial sense, with proven ability to achieve outcomes that marry brand identity with results

-      Hands on expense of dealing with multiple stakeholders

-      Good communication and reporting skills.

-      Results driven character. Process focused with a tireless focus on output quality.
