Credit Card Operations Manager manages the daily activities for the company's credit card operation group, including payment processing, mailings, and associated support functions.
Designs and implements credit card operations policies and procedures and recommends changes to increase efficiency.
Provide day to day oversight and management of all credit card processes including but not limited to: Handling of Chargebacks/Disputed transactions, Managing day-to-day transaction rejects / card holder queries, Support Fraud operational activity for Card issuing, card blocking, Scheme reporting, Scheme rejects & Card Reconciliation, Merchant Reconciliation, Card Settlement and Merchant Settlement (liaise with the Finance Team when necessary).
Act as a point of escalation to resolve customer, internal and/or external bank queries relating to cards operations in a timely manner and in line with service levels
Credit Card Operations Manager typically reports to a head of Credit card.
The Credit Card Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Has full authority for personnel actions.
To be a Credit Card Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
Follow the assignment of head of credit card.
University degree in Banking, Finance or relating areas
Requires 3 years experience in the related area
Strong communication skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power point, Visio)
Knowledge of Card payment industry
Extensive knowledge of the function and credit card processes.
