Role Overview:
· Drive insurance brokerage revenue growth in Health Solutions Department and develop a clear go-to-market strategy to achieve revenue growth target of insurance products in line with the strategy and vision of Aon Vietnam as well as Aon Plc, especially the Japanese client segmentation
· Work with business units to identify and develop business opportunities that generate long-term client relationships and profitable revenue growth from the full range of new and existing products and services.
· Teamwork and collaboration with Regional and Global to generate new and expanded business.
· Drive the strategy and business plan well beyond the set target.
· Utilizing and managing Aon Connect for ensuring that new business plans are incorporated for your business unit, the renewal business target are monitored and managed accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
Growth and Sales
· Key leadership role in the design and delivery of client and revenue growth plans for Japanese HS business
· Taking full responsibility to retain and grow clients at expected level of profitability
· Driving business development best practice, including industry research and (LMP) local market planning.
· Actively involving in all new Japanese business/renewal tenders in excess of US$ 10,000 or as designated by HS Leader.
· Leading, managing and executing the agreed growth plan, budget for allocated client portfolio and contributing to the annual planning cycle.
· Managing the growth planning framework including a regular and dynamic focus on the Market Assessment process.
· Developing and executing the “market facing” strategic broking strategy/communication, including but not limited to quote/placing slips and wordings.
· Aon Group services liaison i.e. “where to within the Aon Group”.
Client Ownership
· Voice of Aon Client Promise for Japanese clients and other MNC clients as assigned
· Constantly identifying valuable clients and where the biggest opportunities exist, developing client relationships positively influencing sales and client retention.
· Positive Net Promoter Score from clients and regularly review value proposition to increase overall partnership position.
· Acting as Strategic Account Management (SAM) and maintaining the TLC (top level contact) on key Japanese prospects and clients across HS
Operational Excellence
· Working with BU Leaders to create sustainable divisional growth plans, LMP, Management of Aon Connect discipline
· Undertaking and maintaining stewardship of all audit requirements and participating Internal Audit Committee.
· Introducing best practice client service standards or operational excellence and rolling out to Aon Vietnam.
· Adherence to and ongoing broker training for Aon Asia Brokers guide
Leadership
· Building on the strengths of the team, developing HiPo talent and address the gaps in expertise.
• Customer service and business development skills
• Must have 8 or more years of experience in strategic account management and handling C-suits, preferrably in Financial Services industry
• Strong negotiation skills
• Cross-culture adaptability and Team spirit
• Experience working or living in Japan is an advantage.
• Excellent communication in Japanese, both in verbal and written context (N1 competent)
• Good English command in all four skills.
