Working in VGU’s Examination Team. The Examination Officer is in charge of all subjects relating to the examinations at the VGU. For that the Examination Officer has to be in contact and provide all relevant information to the program coordinators and others who are in charge.
Work on admission regulations. Work on rules and regulations for all examinations carried out at VGU. Help to conceptually optimize all regulations if administrative problems are arising;
Work on online application system closely with Student Recruitment Dept. and study programs;
Work on Student Information System (SIS), Integrated Campus Management System (ICMS). Keep track and validate examination results of students of all study programs;
Organize VGU's own entrance examinations for Bachelor and Master students. Work closely together with other departments/units (e.g. Student Recruitment, Foundation Year and Student Affairs) and the faculties for the admission procedure;
Provide services for the program coordinators/faculties in the organization of examinations, in order to carry out examinations smoothly;
Give general guidance to students and lecturers concerning admission and examination regulations;
Prepare and manage to issuing/keeping as archives the VGU's Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees; make sure that all legal requirements are fulfilled;
Prepare and coordinate academic events carried out at Academic and Student Affairs Department (e.g. Academic Year Opening Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony);
Perform tasks assigned by supervisors and Presidential Board.
University Bachelor Degree in relevant or related fields
Knowledge about examination procedures, university administration and Vietnamese legal regulations regarding all examination procedures
Experience in university administration
Good proficiency in English both in written and orally
Knowledge of German regulations is an advance
Good command in using MS Office Software
Creative, initiative, can-do attitude
Be able to work efficiently, independent and self-organized
Good manners of expression, good writing skills and organizational skills
Ability to work cross-teams in a service and outcome-oriented way
Good communication skills

Probationary period: 60 days

A daily shuttle bus will be offered for VGU staff between HCMC and Binh Duong campus.
Holidays: Employees are entitled to annual leave of 12 days; Public holidays are typically off as it occurs also as per Vietnamese Labor Code.
