Collects, receive and clarifies user requirements from end users
Contributes to analyzing new applications and enhancement requests to meet business’ objectives
Writes, presents and discusses with users to finalize Business Requirement Document (BRD)
Work with Head and/or other stakeholders in projects/enhancements for system enhancement and insurance product implementation; working with other project members from various business units to identify functional solutions for the objective of the project (scope: Functional Requirement study, User Acceptance Test (UAT) and support), prioritize the requirements, prepare functional specifications for system enhancement, and providing recommendations related to the proposed solution.
Follow up with vendor/IT for production issues and enhancements required
Strong collaboration with other Business Analyst, and IT teams as well as other parties in projects to identify cross-functional implications of projects/enhancements and to work on solutions to ensure proper end-to-end implementation of initiatives.
Operate across organizational boundaries to ensure system implementation and changes to business requirements will be successful and accepted by all parties.
Conduct relevant functional analysis covering detailed business requirement analysis, solution analysis from business/functional perspective and being involved in functional impact assessment to identify and recommend solutions for system implementation and business improvements.
Provide requirements specifications according to standard templates; decompose business requirements into Functional Specification Document (FSD).
Validation of users’ input based on own knowledge to ensure all areas of systems and business processes are covered in the Functional Specification Document (FSD).
1. Key tasks:
Business requirement garthering: Garthering business requirement to complete business requirement document (BRD) to cover business function perspective
Solution designing: Design Functional Requirement Specification to implement new/improved functionalities for the system to accommodate product, operational and/or compliance requirement
Project/Product/Enhancement Implementation: Implement new product and/or operational functionalities to meet business, operational and/or compliance requirement
Exercise UAT, quality assurance: Ensure initiatives / projects/enhancement implemented are delivered on time with quality
Self Management, Development and Team Work: Ensure implementation of product/project and/or enhancement with minimal supervision
2. Required competency (For position not for person holding the job)
Able to work independently in gathering and understanding business requirements / needs from internal and external stakeholders
Able to engage business users and other stakeholders to understand and document business requirements to develop functional requirements, and design, plan and manage User Acceptance Test (UAT) execution
Experienced in project planning, impact analysis and execution of activities related to implementation of business requirements for new or existing systems
Strong communication skills, excellent in English and Vietnamese, both in speaking and writing
Team player and a quick learner
3. Other requirement
Knowledgeable in Business and Functional Requirement Analysis, and User Acceptance Test (UAT) approaches, methodologies and tools.
Knowledge in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Well versed in using MS Office, MS Project and MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge and/or experience in Insurance or Takaful industry is an added advantage.
Knowledge and/or experience in support of financial executives/insurance agents.
Knowledge in project co-ordination and/or implementation.
