Job Description

1. Operation duties

  • Department are ready for business (store checklist).
  • Ensure sufficient manpower during business.
  • Provide good customer services to encourage “plus selling”. Be polite and listen alternatively to customer needs.
  • Get information and introduce to customers about new arrivals, promotions, policies regarding to store.
  • Handle complains from customers, staffs and promoters, difficult and complicated situations.
  • To ensure safety standards are met before opening for business.
  • Be responsible for opening and closing store’s doors, elevators, escalators.
  • Prevent and handle shopliftings, thieves, robberies.

2. Sales and Profits

  • Be responsible for overall department business activities and staff performance
  • Review inventory and sales records to advise management and merchandising department.
  • Report periodically including market survey.
  • Maintain fire-fighting, camera and EAS systems and security equipments in good condition.

3. Rules and Regulations

  • Follow the company rules and in house regulations .
  • Be responsible for staffs and promoters in implementing, executing the rules and regulations within the department and as assigned by the management.

4. Manpower planning

  • Implement and monitor store policies practices, standards, guidelines, procedures.
  • Plan and prepare duty rooster and keep record of employee’s work schedules.
  • Preside over all department meetings of staffs and promoters.
  • Train, motivate and supervise subordinates engaged in sales, inventory-taking, performing services to customers.
  • Appraise staff’s performance and handle staff’s grievances and complains from internal and external customers.

5. Other duties

  • Support other department as required.

Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Store manager, SSM, ASM.

Job Requirement

  • 25 years old or older
  • Higher education.
  • At least two-year experience at management level.
  • English ability: Fluency.
  • Be able to work at shift
  • Good health.
  • Teamwork skill: Actively promote team work.
  • Service orientation: customer service minded.
  • Leadership: Acting leadership by example.
  • Persuasion: Ability to persuade others in specific situations.
  • Reasoning ability: Ability to definite problems. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with difficult situations.
  • Acts with Integrity: Demonstrates responsibility and honest behavior in all Parkson roles, tasks, and responsibilities
