Job Description

The General Manager of Sales Division is responsible for

  • Fully driving and leading all business development activities of 3 sales departments:Direct Sales (South & North), New Channel, GMA (Global Major Accounts)
  • Managing and maintaining client relationships
  • Driving the overall sales strategy and targets aligned with the company’s business plan and annual budget

Strategy & Planning

  • Participates in preparing the annual forecasts, making projections of the numbers of units to be sold, gross profit, expenses and operating profits for sales departments with inputs from the BOD and ensure their effectiveimplementation.
  • Aligns sales targets with the strategic business plan and annual budget.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to support achieving strategic goals and objectives, and measures and reports on KPIs
  • Analyzes local market conditions, the demographic situation and the history of previous sales to make recommendations to BOD for short/long-term business opportunities.


  • Network with and develop strong working relationships with existing and potential client base.
  • Reroute all client queries, gathers market and client information, researches and analyses sales options.
  • Analyze the various customer satisfaction reports and submits recommendations to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  • Meet with the sales managers to establish monthly and yearly objectives for the numbers of units to be sold, gross profit, expenses and operating profit.
  • Meet with Business Operation Director to review the monthly forecasts, commission sheets, staffing needs, sales promotions, performance reports and the profitability of each sales department and sales executives.

People Management:

  • Ensure appropriate workflow management between staff through appropriate delegation of work.
  • Monitor the performance of teams on an on-going basis, conduct performance reviews against agreed goals and ensure effective staff development.
  • Identify training and developmental priorities for the sales departments to ensure that all employees possess the requisite skills and knowledge to successfully perform their roles and responsibilities.
  • Coaches and mentor employees as appropriate to improve individual performance and develop a motivated and high team performance.

Job Requirement

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s in economics or Engineering or related field
  • Working experience: At least 7-10 years in Sales Leading position, preferable in Office Solutions / Equipment
  • industry

  • Excellent client interfacing and customer-focused approach
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Advanced presentation and reporting.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: leadership skills, communication, persuasion.
  • Proven people management skills with effective experience in training, managing, mentoring and evaluation.
  • Sales oriented, result-oriented, active, self-motivated
  • Proficient in English.
