Job Description

Management:

  • Assists Head of AC section in conducting and managing the Agency compliance activities in coordination with relating departments aiming the compliance with Government regulations as well as Company internal rules and aiming at minimizing/controlling the Agency compliance risk and Agency violations.

Operations:

  • Maintains effective misconduct/misappropriation handling procedure, including classification/criteria of misconducts/punishment.
  • Conducts day-to-day operations of the Agency compliance activities: find out, investigate, record, and report the agency misconduct/misappropriation cases, support to resolve the agency misconduct cases in co-operations with relevant Departments/Sections.
  • Recommends the punishment for and implement the punishment for the misconduct/misappropriation cases in accordance with the relevant internal rules.
  • Based on delegation, represents the company or gives sufficient support to who represent the company and manage the relevant procedures for the legal disputes relevant to Agency/Distribution channel including legal cases at the court (co-responsible with Legal team).
  • Reports periodically about misconduct/misappropriation cases to Management and relevant Committees.
  • Recommends and implements internal education framework for Agents (e.g. periodical compliance seminar, compliance news etc.). Be involved in various internal projects particularly for those relevant to Agency/Distributions channel to give appropriate advices from compliance point of view proactively.
  • Co-ordinates to, reports to IAV / MoF particularly relevant to Agency compliance.

Job Requirement

Education and Experience:

  • University degree or higher in Legal, Compliance or equivalent.
  • At least 03 years of relevant agency compliance experience in life insurance industry is required.
  • Basic LOMA Certificate or higher is preferable.
  • Be able to use English language skills in working. 

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of life Insurance operations, agency activities, agency legal and compliance.
  • Knowledge of investigation, record, and report of agency compliance case.
  • Sophisticated interpersonal skills to communicate smoothly and professionally with peoples with various background and situation, including interview with suspects of misconduct cases.
  • An analytical & organized approach, with a good attention to details.
  • Microsoft Office skills are required.
