Job Description


· Responsible for number of Lost/Damaged arising

· Responsible Lost/Damaged Investigation

· Responsible for Speedlink environment safe and secured for all staff


· Developed extensive contacts with Security personnel in a variety of industries, including the airfreight /airline industry as well as local law enforcement and regulatory agencies.

· Develop and maintain extensive internal contacts within Speedlink/ITL as security of the shipment in Speedlink custody is an end-to-end process.

· Provide input and participate in the reporting of security incidents into the database.

· Prepare and analyze the database information for the production of regular reports on shipment and other security incidents, including Dangerous Goods. Where appropriate, recommend and initiate actions to investigate and resolve significant security incidents as they occur.


· Advise country management of any changes and recommended countermeasures.

· Provide direction, support and advice on security matters.

· Advice on any security related changes and recommend security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met to specifications.

· Source appropriate security vendors and consultants with respect to the purchase of security equipment, undertaking of investigations, etc.

· Monitor and audit the security services provided and maintain a monthly performance report.

· Enlist the support of all Speedlink staff to ensure that Speedlink’s environment is safe and secured.

· Provide regular updates on security issues.


· Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures and security practices to safeguard Speedlink employees, customers’ shipments, Speedlink assets and information against loss, damage or incident.

· Co-ordinate country security activities and ensure compliance of Speedlink staff and sub-contractors with security procedures.

· Conduct security audits (and assist other audit teams), both proactively and reactively to assess the effectiveness of security practices and procedures at country sites.

· Co-ordinate the implementation of stipulated and other relevant Security training programs for country personnel and in particular Speedlink specific training programs.

· Conduct Security related investigations and other enquiries as required.


· Incumbent has no direct reports and authority over country line and functional personnel. Nevertheless he/she must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization’s business processes.

Job Requirement


·         College or University degree in safety management or relevant field is preferred

·         Good verbal and written English

·         Microsoft office skills

·         Familiar and understanding of legal health and safety guidelines


·         2 year - experience in security, military or police

·         Working in Logistics industry is preferred
