Audit main task is to assess the compliance of transactions, actual risk exposure, respect of procedures, as well as the relevancy and efficiency of permanent control. This is managed thanks to an objective, rigorous and unbiased approach.
The Internal Audit Manager (“IAM”) reports directly to the Supervisory Board of HD SAISON directly.
Performing risk assessment and audit plan.
Directly reporting to the Supervisory Board and completes any as tasks signed by the Supervisory Board and the Board of Member of HD SAISON.
Representing the Audit Function for HD SAISON.
Representing the audit function to external auditors and local regulators.
Supervising audit assignments and the audit team.
Risk Assessment, Audit plan execution and recommendation follow-up
Regarding risk assessment and audit plans for the auditee within the scope, the IAM:
Coordinates the risk assessment process.
Consolidates the audit plans and submit to the Supervisory Board for approval.
Plans missions and monitors the audit plans’ fulfillment in HD SAISON.
Proposes to launch missions and defines their staffing.
The IAM supervises audits within audit entities of HD SAISON under the scope.
Controls the quality of the works performed by the assignment and ensures deadlines are met.
Reviews the audit report and the recommendations, monitoring the implementation of the recommendations
Recruits the auditors.
Performs appraisal of the Internal Audit Assistant annually, and propose the performance gap for the Audit Assistant to close to move to higher level.
Proposes for salary reviews and bonuses.
Sets objectives for the auditors’ performance development.
Provides sufficient and adequate training to auditors.
The IAM is in charge of administrative tasks and budgetary for audit department
The IAM ensure the audit methodologies up-to-date and comply with prevail regulation and law. In details, the IAM ensures audit tools and methodologies are properly used by the auditors.
The IAM represents Audit function for the Management legal entities within the scope.
Presents the risk assessment conclusions, completes annually audit plan and submits to the State; Bank of Vietnam (“SBV”) timely.
Completes the annual audit report and internal audit report related to anti-money laundering; and submits to Supervisory Board for reviewing timely.
Completes other requests from SBV timely.
Prepares and participates to the Audit Committees.
Takes part in the governance of the legal entities: attend in the meeting of the Management Board, Credit Risk Committee, HR committee, regular meetings with Operation Risks teams and Compliance, etc…
The IAM maintains the contact with Regulators and external auditors.
Other tasks assigned by the Board of Members and the Supervisory Board.
University graduate with Economics background (Auditing, Accounting, Financing or Banking)
Proficient English (spoken & written) and computing skills (MS Office: Word, excel & PowerPoint)
At least 5 year experience in finance, banking area.
Experience in audit.
General knowledge, understanding about the laws, business administration and banking operations.
Experience of collecting, analyzing, assessing and synthesizing information.
