The Systems administrator will join the Infrastructure team and will apply their in-depth skills and experience to maintaining and developing the infrastructure in line with best practices. The Systems Administrator will be skilled in both traditional Microsoft and Linux systems but will also have good hands on experience with AWS and Azure. The System Administrator will work with the security team to help tune the M365 environment to the best possible security posture. The position will be both projects based and 2/3rd line support. As the company follow trading hours, the Administrator will be expected to take part in an on-call schedule and manage high priority incident remotely.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration AWS and Azure including setting up instances, websites and networks, administering security groups and creating databases.
Windows and Linux server administration (Including AD, GP and enterprise SAML)
M365 tenant admin – o365 and Azure resource groups.
Providing support to critical infrastructure and working on high priority incidents
Administering Linux web servers on Nginx with internet security gateways
Working on escalated support calls and providing updates to accurate record the cases
Applying High Availability model on critical services.
Administering Zabbix monitoring system.
Advising and guiding the business on developing the infrastructure.
Responding to security alerts and applying patching and remediation
Manage backup strategy and restore
Assist in audits and or BCP planning activities.
Taking part in out of hours on call rota
Managing the local infrastructure in Vietnam
Leasing with local partners like TelCos and service providers
Mentoring the junior IT
Detecting and resolving security incidents on devices
Assisting in compliance with company policies through local staff training / awareness.
CRM System Management (create/delete CRM user, support user for working 24/24).
Internet/Wifi System Management.
Microsoft 365 User Account Management (Mail, Team, Windows Logon) for create/deleted account
Camera System Management.
Video Conference System Management.
Support User (Hardware & Software)
Call Center System Management
License Software Control.
Industry certifications such as MCSA, Cloud architect, Azure, AWS practitioner, Linux admin (others considered)
Relevant formal education
3 years+ experience in similar high-level roles
Demonstrable skills in key technologies like AWS, AD, Linux, Nginx, MSO 365, networking
Previous work in FinTech considered an advantage
Any database (RDS/SQL Aurora) or DevOps experience considered a plus
Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently.
Diligent and accurate, able to record actions and updates in service tickets, update documentation and keep registries current.
Documentation skills and planning, Visio change requests and system documentation.
Works as part of a close team. Helps to promote the team and its members by sharing knowledge.
Must be flexible about being on-call and working out of hours for both planned changes and emergency support.
Works with ticketing system to resolve and record tasks and incidents.
