The IT Support Officer role is responsible for supporting all aspects of the IT systems and services. Additionally, the role includes responsibility for ensuring the security and integrity of computer operations and systems in accordance with the Knauf Global IT strategic plan
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks including asset control
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Providing technical support across the company
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Providing technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required, supporting the roll-out of new applications and solutions
Conducting IT orientation for new joiners
Logging all incidents and service requests and manage tickets/requests, planning and prioritising systematically to minimise backlog and ensure operational efficiency
Demonstrating commitment to and promotion of a culture of service excellence and continual improvement within the IT team
Job Requirement
Relevant IT/industry experience and/or qualifications/experience in the following areas: Windows Server, Network, Backup and Virtualization
