Job Description

Description & Principal Purpose

The position will work closely with the National Sales Manager, Vietnam. The Professional Affairs Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the Vietnam training and sales support functions. Including but not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of training materials and plans
  • Maintaining close relationship and provide technical support to all customers
  • Providing product technical and marketing support

Key Data

KPI’s:

  • Develop and translate training materials
  • Training Programs for Opticians and Sales
  • Product Troubleshooting

Main tasks

Including but not limited to;

  1. Work closely with the commercial team to provide clinical, technical support and lens expertise to eye care practitioners as well as staff in the use of products.
  2. Advise on aspects of the business such as technical lens issue, assist in installation, key user training and trouble shooting for machines
  3. Gathering market and competitive market intelligence
  4. Product presentation to customers
  5. Developing training modules and implementing programs for training of staff in a retail environment
  6. Present at externally organized programs that support the Company's philosophy and products
  7. Develop and conduct internal training to the commercial and non commercial staff
  8. Representing the company in trade shows,events and exhibitions
  9. Advising customers on new products
  10. Attending team meetings and sharing the best practice with colleagues
  11. Assist the commercial team in all marketing and sales activities and trade shows
  12. Marketing support responsibilities
  • Exhibitions / trade shows logistics in the Vietnam
    • Invitations, brochures, posters, mailing list
    • Coordination with suppliers for booths set up, layout and other marketing materials (in collaboration with Marcomms Executive)
    • On site support
    • Other communication activites
  • Coordination of Seminars / user meetings
  • Assistance and advise or best practise sharing for product launches

13. Market analysis and gathering of market/ competitors‘ data

14. Working closely with the commercial team in developing and executing the Professional Marketing / Education strategy to drive business goals

15. Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management

Job Requirement

Requirements

Education

  • BA degree in Business/ Economy/ Marketing & with preferable optometry certificate & experience in optical business.

Experience

  • At least 3 -5 years related work experience, preferably with optical retail experience.

Other skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Able to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situation
  • Detailed orientated and work with high level of accuracy
  • Technically sound and passionate about Optometry
