This position is responsible for the overall Packing Section and Finished goods Warehouse. Ensure the optimum operations in the Finished goods Warehouse and Packing section to be in line with Plant standards, requirements, and policies.
WAREHOUSE:
Ensure all standards, procedures, work instructions related to Finished goods Warehouse operations are properly built, fully applied, and frequently reviewed to promote high-performance culture;
Initiate and lead the projects to simplify/ improve/ change the operations of Warehouse towards the direction of continued excellence and savings;
Manage the Warehouse operations (e.g. receiving, issuing, dispatching, maximizing the utilization of W/H space and facilities, safety stock of packaging materials, shipment on time);
Ensure that Warehouse is in good operations and conditions in line with Olam standards and requirements e.g. maintenance of good housekeeping in the warehouse and surroundings;
Monitor reports on slow-moving, stock age, obsolete and rejected materials stock to minimize loss and inventory costs;
PRODUCTION:
Manage the packing area, milling line, packaging warehouse;
Control Yield, Loss, Productivity, Safety stock of packaging materials, shipment on time;
Control packing lines to align with the production plan and achieve output targets;
Effectively manage flexible packaging lines with multiple changeovers;
Coordinate with other departments for packaging-related issues to ensure that the quality and timeline of packaging are suitable for the products;
Supervise team fulfills production plan, delivery, inventory;
Other tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
Job Requirement
University graduate Food major, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Management, or related industries.
Good in English communication is a MUST.
Working experience: From 2-3 years in an equivalent position, at least 1 year working in the Food Manufacturing industry.
Competencies: Process approach, Target focus, Leadership.
Good at MS Office (Word, Excel).
Knowledge in quality standards HACCP, GMP, SSOP, ISO is a plus.
