Job Description

  • Achieving immediate and short-term objectives laid down by the production manager
  • Implements production and makes adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications.
  • Fills in process sheets containing instructions for all production staffs and workers.
  • Maintaining working condition (safety and hygiene) at the factory.
  • Monitors quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.
  • Cross-functional management of QA, materials for the team.
  • Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Conducts training of new or existing employees.
  • Monitors usage of utilities to ensure efficiency of operations.
  • Build Quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for all Quality Systems
  • Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
  • Accompanies ISO auditors. Recommends and implements action plans to correct deviations noted during audits.
  • Establish and support a working environment of continuous improvement that supports the companies Quality policy, Quality System & the appropriate regulations for the area, follow to ISO quality.
  • Schedules and or performs calibrations for plant measuring instruments.
  • Administration duties which include Time and Attendance system, Job Appraisal for All production employees

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Production, Mechanical or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups.
  • Willing to take up challenge, mature and independent character.
  • Able to work overtime and under pressure, good written and communication skills.
  • Previous experience of people-management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organizing and team building is required.
