Job Description

Purpose: Give counselling to customers then convince them enroll.


  • Learn about products or services and keep up to date with changes
  • Give counselling to customers (Walk-in, Phone in, Referral, Database Telesales, etc.)
  • Record customers’ information into computer, software
  • Bring customers for Center facilities Tour
  • Follow up students finished classes to re-enroll for next course
  • Follow up all potential customers
  • Assign classes and level placement for students
  • Conduct student’s survey, handle complaint, record & transfer feedback form to Department or staff in-charge
  • Handle customers' complaints and requests within authority
  • Conduct meeting actively with line Manager and/or other departments to overcome customer complaint effectively
  • Support local marketing activities on center and outside
  • Work closely with other department to provide the best service for customers
  • Achieve monthly sales target for New-enroll and Re-enroll
  • Market successfully to parents and persuade enrolment
  • Provide excellent customer service – proactively anticipating and managing customer/parent requests and enquiries, and meeting or exceeding their expectations
  • Establish excellent rapport with parents, children and teachers
  • Organize and schedule assessments; ensure assessment schedule is accurate and updated; reconfirm assessment schedule
  • Manage communications to parents such as parent-teacher meetings, changes to class schedule, promotions and new program launch etc.
  • Organize marketing activities to increase center awareness and increase student enrolment
  • Maintain professional appearance of the Sylvan Centre
  • Provide assistance to the Centre Manager to effectively manage the operations of Sylvan Centre
  • Other duties assigned from time to time by Center Manager

Work Schedule:

  • Tuesday – Sunday: 8AM – 5PM
  • Monday: off

Job Requirement

  • Graduated from a college or higher, major in sales/education is as priority 
  • Sales experience, including in counselling, advising and customer service
  • Be good at using computer, MS Office
  • Be able to work under pressure
  • Be able to work in a team
  • Good skill of communication and persuasion
  • Be responsible, dependable, honest, and mature
  • Be friendly, patient, and sensitive to a diversity of students
  • Good product knowledge
  • Good at English
  • Skilled in consulting and telesales
