Job Description

Purpose:

The primary role of a Regional Manager is to grow the market demand for tobacco and spirits products in a collection of accounts within a geographical area. Improving the relationship with the accounts and effectively act as a business consultant on product knowledge, technology, pricing, and many other areas, thereby acting as a strategic partner with retailers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the operational aspects within the North of Vietnam (Habanos Points, Habanos Specialist)
• Manage HABANOS brands: Cohiba, Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta, Partagas, etc.
• Manage DIAGEO brands: Johny Walker, Mortlach, Singleton, etc.
• Collaborating with Area Manager to establish and execute a sales goal for the region
• Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals
• Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals
• Assisting sales personnel in their techniques
• Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
• Educating sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings
• Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements
• Develop an understanding and act on (where appropriate) market intelligence that may impact, the sale of cigar and spirits products
• Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability. Disseminate information to sales representatives, corporate marketing and sales operations.

Job Requirement

• Must have 5 years experience at retail and wholesale;
• Bachelor's degree preferred; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent selling skills and ability to forge business partnerships that help close the sale;
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while achieving Go To Market goals and objectives;
• Ability to plan and prioritize route list call coverage and frequency to achieve specified Go To Market Plan coverage goals.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Solid presentation skills as presentations to small groups (internally and externally) are required
• Ability to use and communicate basic business math and interpret internal/external industry data and reports;
• Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws,
• English & Vietnamese advance level
• A strong passion/enthusiasm for Cigar and Whisky industry
• Significant experience in Cigar and Whisky Industry will be a plus
• Ability to use and communicate basic business math and interpret internal/external industry data and reports;
• Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws.
