Job Description

+ Establish and implement sales planning for the area.

+ Initiate and manage profiling of all customers by the sales team so that opportunities to gain share, upgrade or improve product mix are identified and exploited.

+ Prospect, approach and gain new customers.

. Contribute in improving profitability and reducing complexity by commercial actions.

. Initiate and build relationships at senior level across customers’ organization in order to build the Company profile at the highest level.

. Develop market understanding of Personal Protection, identify and close on new business opportunities to increase market share in Vietnam.

. Assist in developent of new business streams in Personal Protection.

. Provides leadership and direction resulting in maximum product sales, exceeding customer expectations, and driving maximum profitability.

. Transforms market and project knowledge into other related market activities and opportunities.

. Builds strong relationship with government, research and development agencies, universities, organizations and related industries to get more information about the opportunities and convert it into sales

. Appoints distributor who has experience in Personal Protection industry to speed up market penetration.

. Coordinates with commercial team in each unit to develop composites sales strategy.

. Researches new market and leads the sales team to create opportunities in Performance Materials business.

+ Team Management:

. Leads, motivates and coach the sales personnel in the assigned territory to deliver profitable sales growth, increased productivity and positive team work to deliver agreed sales targets within agreed time frames.

. Identify training and development needs for individual team member.
. Creates a productive working environment through positive management team and individuals across the business, and by ensuring appropriate involvement and delegation.

+ Market and Competitor information:

. Collect and feedback key competitors and market information.

. Regularly monitors competitor activities and suggest new products or marketing activities to grow share

. Provide accurate and detailed forecast of future customer demand

+ Credit Control and Collection:

. Works with Credit Control Manager to meet or exceed plan targets for Over Due Ratio and Debtor Days.

. Monitors customer financial information to ensure safety long-term business with customers

Job Requirement

1. Essential:  

+ University degree in related majors. 

+ At least 3-year management experience in sales.  

+ Knowledge and expertise in Performance Materials sales and/or marketing (with detailed knowledge of Performance Materials market segmentation, product placement strategy, pricing strategy, etc) 

+ Experience in building teams and creating positive and productive work environments 

+ Communicate fluently in Vietnamese and English 

+ Proven ability to work independently  

2. Desirable:  

+ Experience in Performance Materials business min 5 years. 

+ General understanding of Personal Protection related markets / applications 

+ Be able to travel in Vietnam and possibly overseas in other South East Asia countries
