International award-winning executive recruitment expert Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-known fertilizer distributor in Vietnam. As the business keeps developing quickly, our client is seeking a leader with at least 5-7 years’ experience for the job of Sales Manager (Organic Fertilizer). The job is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for fertilizer sales, strategy, and growth of their territory. This person will have account ownership for customers and prospects along with primarily outside sales efforts for their territory. This person will assist strategy development with business leadership for assets and future growth necessary to achieve strategic goals.
Grow origination and sales from individual efforts as well leveraging the resources and personnel available
Provide leadership and education of grain and fertilizer markets to stakeholders
Responsible for proper customer account maintenance, including A/R and logistics for contracts and fertilizer position management when necessary
Extensive travel in territory of responsibility
Collect and record information on assigned accounts in Salesforce and support customer in every way to make our company their first choice of fertilizer supply while supporting other capabilities
Must be engaged with accounting and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate accounting and contract management
Provide analysis and input into further development and success of the company
Bachelor’s degree in business or agriculture, or equivalent experience,
Bachelor or master’s degree in agricultural science
English communication is preferred
Demonstrate capacity to evaluate and manage risk, along with understanding of how to conduct professional sales calls with customers and prospects.
Basic understanding of grain/futures trading and fertilizer markets, production agriculture and the application of those to the farmer
