Job Description

Content Creation

  • Create or contract out training material using company policy, country or international law, and customer requirements as applicable, for reference.
  • Identify training material deficiencies and create a training plan to close the gap.
  • Collaborate cross-factory and function to design training materials that supports ongoing environmental programs.
  • Update training materials to reflect up-to-date progress on environmental projects.

Content Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions according to the master training plan.
  • Use dynamic presentation skills to connect to audiences of all types.
  • Integrate training materials digital employee relations platforms.

Training Administration

  • Track the effectiveness of trainings given and make improvements to the material or presentation style as needed.
  • Develop and monitor the environmental training program to ensure customer and legal requirements are continuously met.

Sustainable Business Support

  • Be a “sustainability advocate” – frontline support for progressing the Sustainable Business department’s mission.
  • Support ongoing sustainability projects to make progress on environmental targets.
  • Provide expertise to cross-functional teams (ex: the audit team during internal audits)
  • Investigate special cases or tasks related to the department (deep-dive a specific issue)
  • Provide support as needed.

Job Requirement

Education

  • University degree preferred
  • Preference will be given to university degrees with environmental backgrounds including: environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, chemistry, electrical/water/waste engineering, education
  • Or two years related working experience in lieu of university degree.

Specialized knowledge

  • Talent development, training standards, project management
  • Footwear manufacturing experience

Skills

  • Dynamic presentation skills
  • Other characteristics such as personal characteristics
  • High adaptability and flexibility
  • Passionate; positive attitude
