Job Description

Annam Gourmet looks for talented candidate at the position Store Manager for our expanding business. The job function's described as below:

Commercial Performance:

a. Turnover & Target Commitment

  • Commit to reach the target of the store
  • Define target/ budget for all departments per week/per month and monitoring
  • Boost the sales by proposing or coordinating to create and implement effective actions like attractive promotion or display

b. Goods management

  • Monitor orders/ purchase forecast for the store based on customer demands on specific period of time or seasons
  • Minimize out of stock rate and maximize the detention rate
  • Have action plans for slow- moving items if any
  • Up any information related to demanding items
  • Lead the weekly/monthly inventory in respecting strictly the inventory process & timeline of investigation + yearly schedule

c. Staff cost/ budget

  • Create a good balance of number of staffs, productivity and staff costs

Store Operations Management

  • Ensure the flow of goods ordering and reception
  • Monitor and make sure products in good condition and those shipments to the store follow the good procedures of reception and with a good preservation.
  • Ensure the obligations of display, labeling and billing are strictly respected
  • Monitor the good respect of promotion campaigns (in time, display, volume, decoration, animation) in creating the events to attract and retain customers
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
  • Maintain assets, respect the rules of safety, health and other laws and regulations

Staff Management/ Development

  • Co-ordinate to recruit, train, supervise staffs
  • Organize the integration of new employees: visit of store, presentation of team, introduction of products, safety rules, AGM policies and creation and follow up/ monitor the result of practical training of the tandem
  • Develop team spirit and conviviality in store and organizing special time to gather team and get higher team spirit

Job Requirement

  • University degree
  •  At least 5 years experience at the same position in Retail
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • The ability to motivate, train and drive the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to customer service
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Confidence and enthusiasm
  • Quick decision-making ability and high sense of responsibility
  • The ability to understand and analyze sales figures
  • Good business sense
  • An understanding of retail laws, security and health and safety
