- Direct responsible and reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
- Support Purchasing Manager to establish KPI target & optimize Purchasing process, develop new system to manage Purchasing activities.
- Supervise the Purchasing Staff to archive the KPI target and manage their performance to minimize delay/failure cases.
- Training & level up team members to build the team stronger.
- Lead team to develop & sourcing new material with lowest price, best quality & on time delivery.
- Managing & updating material status for new sample development & mass production to ensure the required materials and service could be delivered timely by the respected vendors.
- Updating payment for supplier then send to accounting team weekly.
- Working closely with Planning Department to confirm material delivery date.
- Joining meeting with related Department to find a solution for quality issue, late delivery, etc …
- Managing & pushing members to send price for new materials to QS Department for product price calculation on time.
- Managing & pushing member to feedback to other departments for violation minutes
- Ensure that all documents related to Purchasing of materials and services are properly documented & file.
- Preparing monthly report of monthly purchased material and service expenditure and KPI of each team members.
- Managing & conducting for supplier evaluation periodic.
- Other tasks will be assigned by Purchasing Manager.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience working in Purchasing in a production environment (preferably in Furniture)
- Computer knowledge of MS application & ERP/SAP is preferable
