Job Description

Report to Trade Marketing Sr. Manager (based in HCM), this position will lead Trade Marketing Strategy development to attain defined business objectives throughout all UIP product categories focusing on Hanoi & North market; Establish channel strategies along with execute associated plans; Prepare trade promotional plan in designated channels with crucial customers.

Area of Responsibility:

  • North Vietnam (focused in Hanoi), All Categories of UIP.


  1. Work together with Marketing for effective Trade Marketing programs for North market.
  2. Propose effective programs for trade channels based on local expertise.
  3. Forecast and follow up sales.
  4. Audit execution of all trade programs in North market.
  5. Support and execute the marketing strategies for retailers, key accounts and merchandising agencies for North market.
  6. Cascade/ Monitor/ Feedback the activities related to promotional strategies.
  7. Ensure that sales and profitability objectives are met.
  8. Be accountable for achieving specific sales objective.
  9. Allocate appropriate sales target/sales representatives to each area/channel/key account in assigned territory.
  10. Conduct regular field operational sales audits to determine where salesmen are having difficulties so these can worked out.
  11. Analyze distributor’s performance and make proposal for improvements.
  12. Direct the flow of information for sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, orders, contracts) and evaluate data to endure territory goals are met.
  13. Develop and regularly update promotion programs in coordination with Trade Marketing/Marketing and Sales merchandising guidelines for new and existing products.
  14. Collect data from sales team: customer’s feedback, current market and competition evolution and quickly transmit information to superior or relevant function for reacting with the changing market conditions and customer demand.
  15. Make reports/Itineraries in monthly, quarterly, yearly as requested.
  16. Execute for trade program through all channels.

Job Requirement

Educational & Professional Background 

  • Bachelor degree in pharmacy/sales/marketing major
  • At least 2 years experience in sales of pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 2 years experiences in similar position

Competency Requirements
