Job Description

Role purpose

Training and Development Specialist, under supervision of Talent & OD Manager, coordinates with all departments to do training needs analysis, build the training plan, work closely with Technical trainers to design the learning materials, facilitate and conduct some assigned training sessions. In addition, this job holder takes part in some key projects to play business partner role in supporting cross functional employees to achieve high performance.

Key accountabilities

  1. Training

· Work with all functions to analyse the training needs by evaluating the strength and weakness of employees;

· Build the annual training plan and follow up the implementation in the whole cycle of training within the allocated budget;

· Design, facilitate and conduct some assigned topics;

· Liaise with the internal trainers to continuously improve the quality of technical training materials and the trainers;

· Sourcing, evaluating and selecting external training vendors to meet the training needs;

· Manage the training database and be responsible on training reports;

· Evaluate the training efficiency and follow up the returns on investment in training;

· Be in charge of logistics for training workshops;

2. Development

  • Work closely with representatives of each function to improve work relationship, build morale and increase productivity and retention;
  • Analyse data, trends and metrics with HR team;
  • Follow up Graduate Trainee program with function heads to address the individual development plan for graduates;
  • Monitor and report on workforce training plan & evaluation progress as well as take part in succession planning.

3. Other tasks

  • Translate English technical documents into Vietnamese;
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by Talent & OD Manager

    Job Requirement

    ·           Bachelor degree or demonstrable equivalent experience;

    ·           Proven experience in designing training material and training events;

    ·           Good command of English (writing and verbal); 

    ·           Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build positive relationships at all levels, quickly establishing professional credibility;

    ·           Results orientation; ability to facilitate change that benefits the organisation and its goals;

    ·           Planning and Organization, analysis skills;

    ·           High level of personal integrity, professionalism and confidentiality;

    ·           Team player

    ·           Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook,..
