Job Description

1/ Safety:

- Act in accordance with the safety regulations.

- Report accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and behaviors.

- Stimulate an open environment where safety is put first, by sharing safety concerns, acting as an example and addressing each other on safety.

- Assist Warehouse Manager to collaborate, centralize, consolidate, and facilitate warehouse safety agenda of all warehouse areas including IBOB, full store, empty yard, packaging materials…

- Assist Warehouse Manager on budget control and cost analysis

2/ Warehouse planning:

- Analyze the utilization of warehouse space.

- Using fleet management system to analyze the utilization of FLT and FLT & leverage the system for both productivity & safety.

- Assist shift leader to schedule working by shift.

- Perform ABC analysis and review regularly layout heat map to align with changing circumstances (stock policy, production batch sizes, etc.).

3/ Warehouse process execution management:

Analyze trends and interpret data over longer periods of time and suggest improvements.

4/ Goods movement:

Analyze trends and interpret data over longer periods of time and suggest improvements.

5/ Inventory management:

Analyze inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis and suggests actions. Focus areas are stock differences, losses & breakages, number of internal movements, (re)packing and value added services. (Out of stock situations are the scope of planning).

6/ Storage & stock quality assurance/ management:

Monitor stock freshness and suggest promotions for nearly expired product. Performs loss deployment/5 why/root cause analysis on stock quality issues.

7/ RPM handling:

Administrate RPM and register site-loss within logistics, make a deployment, suggest improvements.

8/ Assets & equipment management:

Monitor and analyze asset and equipment usage and suggest improvements.

9/ TPM & Continuous Improvement:

- Make deployments of warehouse activities, as well as warehouse cost, and assist the warehouse manager, team leader, shift leader to propose improved actions in safety, warehousing processes, assets, stock quality and/or inventory management using proper TPM methodology and tool.

- Monitor correct data gathering for DCS.

10/ Management reporting:

- Produce timely and accurate data to prepare reports on warehousing performance. Report KPIs via right platforms.

- Contribute to the definition of new warehousing performance indicators and set up the related reporting system(s).

- Alert on performance deviations of indicators out of control and perform root cause analysis.

- Use the indicators trend to propose improvements projects.

- Report inventory to finance department.

11/ Organization & People management:

Provide warehouse manager reports to monitor sick leave and absenteeism, FTE management (permanent & temporary)

Job Requirement

Working & Thinking level: Bachelor in Business/Supply Chain Management

Experience / skills required:

3 years in business, preferably logistics/warehouse/distribution center management.

Other skills and languages:

- Microsoft Office: Excel

- SAP ECC or other ERP system. WMS if applicable

Language: good both Vietnamese and English
