Wood Factory Supervisor

Job Description

  • Be responsible for wood factory operation/ quality control/ production improvement – 6S, KAIZEN and LEAN concept
  • Be responsible for implement and maintain 6S and Kaizen practice. Controlling production to maximize production efficiency with LEAN techniques.
  • Manage employees to perform the required operations according to quality plans and work instructions.
  • Organize and promote process of improvement and technical development in production area, follow up for implementation.
  • Set up new machine/ equipment applied into the production line to suit the company development and provide instruction to employees of how to operate correctly.
  • Assist Factory Manager setup the manufacturing standard operation procedures for every process in production department.
  • Assist Factory Manager establish factory operation performance indicators to measure the productivity.
  • Lead and participate in production and technical meetings (PPM meeting) in order to follow up production output results including quality issues, wastage reductions and find solutions for improvement.
  • Propose/ recommend improvement solutions in re-arranging production process.
  • Compose Health and Safety policies, implement in the company.
  • Maintain Safety and Clean working environment by complying with procedures and company regulations.
  • Organize for check, follow-up and control machines / equipment in good workable condition.
  • Co-ordinate with all departments for smooth operation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify training needs and do coaching, training for production staff & workers.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Wood Factory Manager and Production Manager.

Job Requirement

  • Graduated College / University of Technology.
  • Having at least 05 years of working experience in wooden furniture companies, export furniture.
  • Have experience and skills in modern production management. Effective control and cost management skills.
  • Have experience in production management, training of new workers.
  • Judgment, decision-making, problem analysis and problem-solving, team-leadership, persuasiveness, adaptability.
