Business Development Executive (Contract Logistics)

JOB PURPOSE

• This position holder looks for new customer and potential customers in the same time create good network with current customers.

MAIN DUTIES

• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Build and maintain long-term relationship with existing customers.
• Conduct sales presentations/ meetings with customers to offer Company’s key service offerings.
• Coordinate closely with Warehouse Manager and Distribution & Traffic Manager.
• Prepare proposals & contracts for new customers.
• Identify new business areas which is in-line with the Company’s growth strategy.
• Keeping abreast of what competitors are doing.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
