Responsible for preparing internal and external media materials, including company publications, group emails, intranet pages, training materials and employee meeting materials. Develops, recommends and maintains editorial policy and branding guidelines, and coordinates production and distribution of materials.
Internal/External Communications : Creates and executes communication strategy, plans and actions to support Cargill’s business objectives and strengthen the company’s reputation with internal and external stakeholders. Online Communications : Responsible for supporting the organization’s business and brand objectives by defining, creating, maintaining and enhancing Cargill’s online presence. Scope includes internal (intranet) and external, corporate and BU/Function activities, and global scale.
Accountability Category 1: Support on Strategy Development, planning and Execution capacity
Utilizes a straightforward understanding of communications practices by assisting in the execution of the global, regional, multi-country and/or country communications strategy and annual plans for country communications (e.g. internal, external, media relations, web, social media, as well as services to businesses and functions) and business communications.
Assists more senior team members in providing administrative support to routine communications planning for the Cargill enterprise and/or BUs/Functions with intent of protecting and enhancing Cargill’s reputation, supporting Cargill’s business goals, as well as increasing employee engagement.
Assists in executing on and providing administrative support to team’s priorities for reactive and proactive media work, ensuring they are in line with corporate strategies and coordinate globally, regionally or multi-country for focus and alignment.
Executes and provides support to the long-term editorial strategy and day-to-day operations of enterprise, regional, country or BU-level communication channels.
Accountability Category 2: Internal/External Communications & Business Partnership
With regular direct oversight, provides support to the execution of basic/routine communications work and assists more senior members of the team in relationship and account management for a small practice area.
Assists in maintaining relationships with existing, routine external network contacts.
Assists in maintaining relationships with routine internal stakeholders to facilitate information sharing and efficient use of resources.
May occasionally interact with cross-function partners on a variety of projects (e.g. acquisition support, speech writing, and writing articles and news releases).
Applies a basic understanding of communication practices to assist in providing a wide range of project management and communications services to deliver communications successfully across a variety of channels. This could include: news releases, executive summaries, internet and intranet, reports, executive speeches, core presentations, background/fact sheets, brand, marketing and other collateral materials, internal publications and more. In English and Vietnamese.
Applies a straightforward understanding of communication practices to assist in executing and providing administrative support to all necessary crisis communication tools to ensure a secure reputation for Cargill.
May interact with communications colleagues, Corporate Affairs to ensure awareness of significant issues to Cargill in other parts of the world and consistency in messaging.
Accountability Category 3: Process Execution & Operating Excellence
With regular direct oversight, executes communications and advocacy efforts for routine issues, initiatives and projects.
Utilizes best practices and consistent processes for internal/external communications throughout daily work activities.
With direct oversight, enters updates for routine processes, policies, systems and distribution lists.
Provides administrative support in developing new communications vehicles.
Requiring basic knowledge of communication practices, assists team members with reporting on measures of communication effectiveness to drive continuous improvement within team.
May provide support and execute on the maintenance and up-keep of an internal/external website for country.

Bachelor degree, major in Marketing & Communication/Language Art or related fields
Experience in handling marcom campaigns, internally and externally
Strong capabilities in Internet, Microsoft Office
Fluent in English and Vietnamese with experience in translation: business documents and verbal translation
Having Internal events/employees engagement experience is preferable
Having experience in organizing students’ events/activities when in universities is preferable
Basic design and use of design tools are preferable
