Job Summary:

The Data analyst uses his analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large databases. This person collaborates with and coordinates efforts between different teams and data analyst for external providers to implement developed models. The aim is to improve and change repetitive tasks with actionable insights

This position typically reports to opco SC Leader

In the execution of his/her daily tasks the Data analyst interacts with various stakeholders:

Internal:

• Business Intelligence Business Translators

• GIS Data Architect

External:

• Analytics coe (Insights Lab)

• Data scientist age WORKING AND THINKING LEVEL

Key Activities:

• Develops predictive and / or prescriptive models that allow solutions to be found to solve complex business problems.
• Develops mathematical models and developing Advanced Analytical solutions, supporting all areas of the business
• Evaluates the precision and effectiveness of the mathematical models developed.
• Builds, validates, controls and improves complex models
• Finds the right model for a business question
• Collaborates with different teams to implement the developed models.
• Creates complete documentation of each of the mathematical models developed.
• Ensures accuracy and precision of the mathematical models developed.
• Carries out exploratory analysis of the information prior to the development of the mathematical models.
• Compiles different databases (structured and unstructured) from different sources of information.
• Organizes, cleans and transforms large databases in order to prepare them as input to mathematical models.
• Uses analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large databases.
• Identifies and evaluates the performance of different algorithms for developing solutions.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Degree of Bachelor level in Engineering with focus on analytics (mathematics, economics, physical engineering)

Minimum 2 years experience in similar positions or portfolio of relevant projects

English – Advanced spoken and written 

Strong preference for experience in:

- Data mining

- Domain of Python programming language and desirable other programming languages such as R

- Experience in SQL, Power BI, SAP, AWS

- Reasonable level of computer competency and advanced Excel skills are essential
