OBJECTIVES

Responsible for designs, prototypes, and builds models – which act as engines for all the use cases as well as maintains models including updates on monthly basis to support use cases

COMMUNICATION

Internal (within VPB FC): All Departments

Testing prototypes & gathering high-level input for model design with related department

External (outside VPB FC): Vendors/ outstaff

Coordinate and work with vendors who in contracts with VPB FC/ outstaff in term of data science advance analytics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understands business problems and designs end-to-end analytics models
• Ensures that these models create value for business units
• Implements and deploys scalable solutions; maintains models
• Undertake tasks assigned by Unit Head

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Education

Graduate from a quantitative field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, Finance)

Experience

• 2 years’ experience in a statistical and/or data science role
• Working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization and distributed computing tools

Skills

• Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization or related fields
• Experience with one of: SAS, Matlab, Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, Arena, Alteryx and SQL
• Language proficient in one of: R, Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross functional teams in a fun, fast-paced environment
