Rewind to 2014: Autonomous is a small group of tinkerers in a tiny apartment in Hell’s Kitchen, New York shipped the first SmartDesk to their first Kickstarter backers. We’ve shipped 1.2M hardware products in our first 5 years in business.
2016: Launched our direct-to-consumer business based on our Kickstarter success 2017: Shipped the first ErgoChair 2018: Launched KinnChair 2019: Started developing Zen Pod
2020 is a pivotal year for us. In 2020, we formed the Autonomous Software Group with the mission of building software products to further help our customers work better.
THE JOB

Responsibilities
Develop system application of middleware software for new hardware

Strong C/C++ programming skills and the ability to work with embedded systems
Experience with Zigbee, Z-wave protocols.
Experience with smart home, smart devices is a plus.
Experience with ARM microprocessors such as STM32, NXP, .... Experience with embedded Linux systems a plus
Experience with linux environments, embedded linux is a plus
Unit test embedded devices and design pattern
Nice to have
Experience with RS232, USB, RS485, CAN, SPI, TCP/IP, and HTTP protocols, a plus
