Sika Vietnam is looking for high caliber candidate for FDI PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNICAL position. This position is responsible to maximize Sika sales in foreign direct investment (FDI) industrial projects in Vietnam by identifying key projects and its stakeholders and their needs from the earliest stage and keep up following the projects, working with internal team to provide customers (contractors, architects, consultants, and project owners) Sika system solutions satisfying their needs and convincing customers the benefit of Sika product systems from different target markets.
The position will report directly to Target Market Roofing Manager (expat) and base at Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a country foreign direct investment project manager to develop successful value-added sales using solution based and consultative sales techniques to increase sales in all Sika Target Markets. This includes calling on Owners, Architects, Consultants, Engineers, Design-Build firms, Contractors, and all other influencers/opinion leaders in the territory.
Identify/qualify local Strategic Projects and Accounts and prioritize with the local team where to focus efforts for quick return. Acting as the project and/or account leader, organize local sales efforts to support sales opportunities including joint sales calls, presentations, and introductory meetings.
Make sales calls to uncover construction projects in the earliest stages. Build a strong pipeline of major projects in the territory with large potential across the Target Markets.
Learn the main Sika product lines (Target Markets) critical for an effective value-added and solution-based approach, including Liquid Applied Membranes, Sealing/Bonding, Refurbishment, Roofing, Flooring, Building Finishing, Concrete and Waterproofing
Work with specification team to ensure Sika products are approved and specified prior to projects bidding.
Communicate with local Sika sales colleagues in all Target Markets appropriately to maximize the sales opportunities on major projects and at key accounts. Close collaboration with local sales is key; strong team leadership and relationship building skills are foundational to the success of this role.
Organize Sika’s added-value sales efforts for strategic projects and accounts in the territory. This includes major seminars/symposiums such as Sika hosted events to demonstrate to customers Sika’s full capabilities.
Lead the local value-added sales efforts using Salesforce.com, our customer relationship management solution, as the main communication tool with all team members contributing and participating to maximize sales opportunities on identified strategic pursuits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field of study
Minimum 5 years of proven success in Technical Sales role for key FDI projects, preferably from construction industry (construction project management/foreign architecture/building materials/main contractor/applicator, ...)
Knowledge of building codes and applications for the Sika product range is a plus
Must have strong leadership and relationship/rapport development skills
High level of communication and presentation skills
Problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and data driven focus.
