TMF’s Technology team is a diverse group of professionals specialized in different technologies. Workplace IT Engineers is where all these technologies meet to provide flawless IT Service to our offices. The ideal candidate for this role is a customer-oriented IT Professional with a broad understanding of the technologies used within TMF. The Workplace IT Engineer will be working closely with the internal customers ensuring the technology is working well while participating in various global projects and initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
IT End user support, with very good understanding in Windows 10 and end user peripherals. Good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Customer service oriented, with good communication skills, patient, and able to provide technical training and guidance to end users
Security oriented and vigilant of any risks, vulnerabilities, and threats. Circumventing any nonconformities with any of our security standards and controls
Assist and partake in the global projects affecting the local office(s).
Provide smart Hands & Eyes to the other functional teams where their presence is missing
Monitoring and managing the tickets assigned to the support group in the ITSM.
Technical support for local applications
Asset inventory and asset control for all workplace IT assets
Technical Knowledge: Reasonable understanding of Microsoft technologies, active directory, print servers, NTFS and share permissions, DNS, DHCP, Enterprise Backups, VPN.
Knowledgeable and understand the ITIL 4 terminologies and best practices
Reasonable understanding of networking terminologies and technologies
Understands and applies control and risk and governance frameworks consistently.
Assist and support local IT and IS audits
Can-do attitude, and a team player
Mindful and willing to work in a multicultural inclusive organization spanning across the different time zones
Controls the budget for IT operational expenses within the office(s) within scope
