To provide day-to-day legal support to the company’s business teams on a broad range of topics and issues, as assigned by the Legal Manager and or/Senior Legal Manager.
To ensure the highest quality legal advice is made available to the organization in the most efficient way.
To support the company in carrying out their corporate governance and regulatory compliance responsibilities.
KEY RESULT AREAS
To assist the Legal Manager and/or Senior Legal Manager in the following works:
Legal Advice & Licensing Matters:
Providing legal advice and guidance on all kinds of legal matters, especially matters relating to Expansion Project.
Reviewing/translating contracts/agreements, documents, correspondence, especially contracts/agreements for expansion project.
Reading, researching, reviewing, verifying and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents.
Following- up on delegated assignments.
Knowing when to act and when to refer matter to supervisor.
Ensuring the compliance and renewals of all the licenses, contracts, agreements and permits of the company.
Handling of applications, registrations for all necessary licenses, governmental approvals and permits for the operations necessary in Vietnam in cooperation with local management and operation.
Preparing legal update.
Providing analysis of business impact of current legislative developments, mainly in the corporate and industrial area and recommendations to maximize advantages and mitigate against adverse developments.
Provide advance notice and assessment of pending legislation.
Administrative and Corporate Secretarial Matters:
Managing the company’s corporate secretarial matters including drafting of power of attorney, board’s and shareholder’s resolutions, office memo, letters to third parties, competent authorities.
Completing various forms, such as legal reports and producing duplicate copies of company’s official documents/licenses/permits.
Attending meeting with internal department, taking notes/minutes and collecting and analyzing information.
Filing, organizing and maintaining company’s database, law libraries, documents and case files.
Providing historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
Organizing meetings, scheduling couriers.
Arranging for delivery and following up of legal correspondence to third parties, competent authorities.
Recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, meetings with the competent authorities and filing requirements.
Preparing invoices and tracking payments.
Other ad-hoc & project-based tasks:
Other tasks requested by Head of Legal/ Senior Legal Manager.

A Bachelor’s degree in law with current practicing certificate
Having experiences in working in relevant job with international company or law firm; working experience in corporate law practice is an advantage
Strong knowledge about corporate laws and regulations;
Excellent watching and logical abilities;
Excellent communications and negotiation skills;
Must be able to work under high stress and save the company from legal difficulties;
Must be well organized and accurate in work;
Must be able to maintain confidentiality about all legal matters.
