The People Engagement and Internal Communications Specialist role is responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee and recruiting communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences across entire the organization.
The Specialist translates business strategies into key messages, develops appropriate internal communications initiatives in support of those strategies, and executes and drives programs that create excitement, drive engagement, align teams and shape culture.
This role works with the company management and internal teams (including but not limited to Human Resources, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Recruiting, and Learning, Development & Performance (LD&P)) to communicate new information and promote the company’s special strengths and values.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help create a best-in-class internal communications function across the company that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all offices and help our remote team members feel connected.
Develop communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communications, presentation materials, MS Teams and other platforms, town halls, small group meetings, etc.) to articulate key messages.
Ensure communication messaging and materials are high quality, accurate, appropriate, and integrated with company priorities and themes.
Use internal tools as appropriate to maximize the company’s internal communication effectiveness and ensure consistent messaging, branding, imagery, and identity.
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of internal employee events as needed and appropriate.
Assist in writing and editing impactful and engaging content that effectively describes and promotes DEI, Talent Acquisition, LD&P, Talents Retention and other programs and initiatives in support of company goals and culture.
Work with appropriate company personnel to create and maintain content for employee communication channels, and partners with the broader Marketing and IT teams to explore/recommend new channels or technologies where possible.
Manage content for the company intranet, ensuring that it is up-to-date, engaging, and informative.
Implement metrics reports to measure effectiveness of internal communication channels and measures internal communications with the goal of continuously improving internal communications strategy to reach and engage employees.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on understanding the voice of employees and gathering feedback to identify actionable employee engagement opportunities while aligning with the company strategic objectives.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, international relations, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant communications experience; work experience in a consulting, law, or other professional services company strongly preferred.
English level (CEFR) B2 or equivalent
Demonstrate prior experience in writing and editing marketing content; experience with web and digital content preferred.
Possess outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
Recognize situations that require initiative and move forward proactively; ask questions, provide solutions, and look to improve.
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively through active listening and honest, transparent conversations in small and large groups.
Demonstrate prior experience of project management and executing events.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience managing branded social media accounts and proficiency with Google Analytics and HTML-based content management systems.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
