1) Prioritize Product Development (incl. mid term strategy):
- Create Product Development Strategy in line with corporate strategic direction
- Make sure to proceed product development in line with company strategy
- Deeply understand Company technology, direction and market movement
2) New / improved product development:
- Collaborate with HQ Japan (BU)
- Set up schedule to control from development step until launching
- Make a follow-up product acceptability after lunching
- Lead related departments to make sure product launching on time
- Create P/L for mange profitable product development
- Collaborate with Brand team to propose product concept and do researches for confirmation (HUT, Home Visit, CLT, FGI, FGD)
- Collaborate with Brand team to initiate package design creation and its evaluation
- Color proof control (Package design, Carton)and judgement
- Prepare Listing samples for sales
- Prepare all the mandatory documents for launching
- Collaborate with Brand team to prepare Product Information material including product feature for sales team
- Share product information with CCC on time
3) Law/Regulation compliance:
- Be responsible for product claim and label check to make sure all in compliance with laws
- Gather information for application: formulation, specification, testing method, Certificate of Analysis (COA), product name, Art-work, etc.
- Request Letter of Authority (LOA) & Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) for import product (to Origin Country).
- Consult & Support in Over-claim checking: Product concept /Catch copy/POSM+A43
- Check INCI list, necessary information concerning with label regulation
- Overall Art-Work check (Cooperate with Brand)
- Claim support data (Bacteria test, Performance Test,…etc)
4) Consumer Understanding:
- Understand deeply consumers' such as Usage & Attitude, insight and Needs
- Report all the information related to this with all MKT members (Consumers' Fact Book)
5) TCR contribution:
- Initiate and promote plan to contribute to company profit through TCR activities by proposing new package design, structure, supplier, materials etc.
6) Trouble solving:
- Investigate, propose action plan, direct/co-ordinate with other departments to solve problem more effectively.
7) Coaching:
- Coach other PD members (Subordinates)
8) Other:
- Do assignment from direct superior
