As a residence butler, you are required to optimise and exceed guest’s satisfaction by providing highly personalised & impeccable service with great attention to details and professionalism. In addition, you are responsible to take ownership and leadership of all residences assigned to you including coordinating and assisting related departments to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of guest residences. Residence butler is key person to ensure the highest Aman standards of service to our residence guests.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a warm welcome to guests with Aman style introduction
Coordinate guest requirements with other departments and follow up to ensure all queries are handled to maximum satisfaction
Collect any information about guests’ plans, pre-reservation services, special dietary requests, allergies or other safety conditions and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure guest experience is beyond expectations
Make suggestions and actively upsell resort operated activities, private dining options, tours and other experiences
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of resort’s products & services as well as in house promotions, events and activity calendar at the resort
Maintain and ensure accurate guest’s profile and port folio
Work closely with Reservation & Front Office departments for the arrangement of guest’s transportation, luggage, flight ticket, etc.
Work closely with Culinary team to make arrangement and perform silver service for residence dining
Consolidate and prepare monthly departmental reports, correspondence, and other related paperwork
Attend meetings or training sessions assigned by Department Head or Board of Management.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulation including fire safety procedures to ensure the safety of all stakeholders
Adhere to resort and department’s internal policies and procedures

A team player and proven ability to work with minimal supervision
Proactive, resourceful and able to work with long hours and flexible shift arrangement
Personal grooming and presentation should always be of the highest standard
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Software platforms & OPERA PMS
Food and beverage service including kitchen skills
Excellent knowledge of guest related functions and guest service
Excellent command of English
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
