Job Overview and Outlook

OLONADE TRAVEL is looking for a talented Sales support specialist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to lead and spearhead the next revolutionary development of our B2B global travel business and setup OLONADE WORLD™.

The Sales support specialist is an independent self-starter who aggressively forms business partnerships and collaborations to hunt for new businesses and farm/build-out existing accounts, ensuring high customer retention and satisfaction, providing excellent service to our internal and external partners. He/She is also a gifted people connector who understands the local Vietnamese people, culture and market, having natural talent and tact to navigate through local and foreign business environment and landscapes.

He/She is also creative and innovative in looking for multi-channel sales and marketing avenues and digital technology to boost corporate sales revenue growth by partnering with existing and new OTAs and suppliers to expand our partnership network, global presence and develop business development strategies with our hospitality partners in the tour and travel markets. The candidate will also have the opportunity to influence and define our branding in the global marketplace across each travel continent. He/She will also have a voice in providing input on operational efficiency, pricing model designs, inventory control and run operations report together with OLONADE management team.

There is a possibility of vertical progression of this role into Regional Business and Operations Manager leading OLONADE businesses and growing spirited team environment and company brand culture sharing management vision for OLONADE WORLD, aligning human and capital resources and setting up and maintaining viable operational structure, project framework and systems to achieve strategic goals and exceed shared revenue goals for OLONADE regional and global markets.

Job Description

-Maintain and update multiple platform content management

-Producing promotional and marketing materials and displays

-Managing budgets relative to forecast and actual revenue plans, maintaining statistical and accounting financial records

-Undertaking day-to-day centre management and administration

-Liaising with local businesses, partners, suppliers and the media

-Market research and survey of local and foreign travel markets

-Selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills

-Establish and maintain effective, profitable and positive relationships with customer

-Consistently achieve exceeding minimum weekly sales activities requirements.

-Good documentation and reporting skills for sales and operational processes and record filing

-Communicate a clear sense of strategic direction and goals for both assigned and team territories/markets, where appropriate.

-Organize and conduct sales trips to forge strong partnerships and generate optimal results from key accounts and assigned segments

-Joins and attends appropriate market organizations and industry trade shows

Qualifications and training required

-Excellent command of spoken and written English language, native local Vietnamese, Mandarin speaking skills or any other language skills advantageous

-Graduates with degrees in languages, psychology, event management, travel, tourism, leisure, hospitality, business studies, marketing, management or journalism are normally at an advantage.

-Entry level or Relevant work experience of 2-5years is essential in any commercial areas related to hospitality, travel, tourism (sales, marketing, retailing, content) can also be helpful.

-Passion for the tour and travel industry
