The ETL Developer is responsible for planning, connecting, designing, scheduling, and deployment of ETL and database developments for a large data warehouse, as well as maintaining, ensuring optimal technical infrastructure, and supporting the production jobs. This candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other team members, as well as users for operational support.
Internal: Database Administration Team
To manage all FEC databases daily tasks on premise or on cloud.
To make sure all the instructions/tasks assigned by DBA leader are clear and completed as per the deadline.
To coordinate with others member in team to achieve the overall targets/goals of IT Division
External: Other departments within IT Division, Business Units and Vendors
Setup, administer and monitor database, ELT jobs, Golden Gate services, ODI, IBM Infosphere, SSIS…
Creates, executes, and documents unit test plans for ETL and data integration processes and programs.
Documents ETL data mappings, data dictionaries, processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards for data governance.
Deployment tasks, CRs, request support from other teams.
Troubleshoot problems from users to identify root causes, solutions, testing and implementation of system relating to systems, servers, services, and databases.
Performance tuning of the ETL process and SQL queries, and recommend and implement ETL and query tuning techniques.
Create new service request, follow, update Services Request to resolve problems, issues relating to databases.
Log the problems about systems, services, databases, and the solutions to them.
User administration (setup and maintaining account, including user audit).
Plan and implement security for systems, application servers, and databases.
