OBJECTIVES
Responsible for mapping, managing and optimization, including using automation method, of processes within VPB FC. Ensure that actual practices are according to approved processes.
COMMUNICATION
Internal (within VPB FC): With all key stakeholders - Risk, Finance, Collections, Sales etc.
External (outside VPB FC): Consulting partners/ external vendor
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Human Management
- Communicate clear instructions/directive to team members
- Manage unit and provide performance feedback and goal-setting; conducts annual performance assessments and skill development and training
- Staffing and retain unit’s talents
- Provide guidance, training and support, resolve issues for subordinates
2. Process Management and Improvement
- Set up framework for business process management and continuous improvement with clear methodology, standardized document templates
- Frequent review and update framework together with related templates to ensure reflection of actual practice
- Set up roadmap to map and improve business processes for entire company with assessment of room for automation, timeline to deliver for each business area
- Select and engage with a vendor to implement the approved business process mapping and improvement roadmap
- Ensure that actual practices are according to approved mapped processes
- Ensure that process mapping and improvement activities meet the defined timeline in approved roadmap
- Collate information on business process mapping and improvement status for management reports
- Ensure processes are documented according to approved framework
- Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt activities
- Coordinate with Finance Division in performing cost and benefit analysis of improvement / automation of processes
- Actively seek out new options/ideas to deliver same expected results with better cost and time-to-market that align with strategy and current business conditions of VPB FC
- Alert management to process management issues such as cost, schedule or scope change
- Support Department Head in reviewing proposals related to processes
- Perform other ad-hoc assigned tasks
